Summary:

Tandem is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our presence across mainland Europe. This role is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and supporting strategic planning initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand Tandem’s market position in Europe.
  • Identify and secure project and personnel placement opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a network of client contacts across pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device sectors.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, trends, and potential business deals.
  • Develop tailored value propositions to meet client needs.
  • Arrange and deliver client meetings, presentations, and networking events.
  • Promote Tandem’s brand and services at industry events, conferences, and trade fairs.
  • Support proposal development and ensure alignment with client requirements.
  • Provide regular progress reports and insights on business development activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A degree in engineering (or a related field) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or recruitment within the life sciences or engineering sectors.
  • Strong industry knowledge and established network in pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical devices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to contribute to company growth initiatives.
