Summary:
Our client, a biopharmaceutical company, located in Dublin, is seeking a Program Manager (Learning & Development). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing the learning programs, learning portal and key projects as assigned by OL&CM leads, and provide support for strategic instructional design projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management and curation of Learning assets on the Learning Portal, Veeva & LMS with ID & LMS Admin colleagues in OL&CM. In addition to these core tasks, the incumbent will also be involved in supporting key skilling and capability development projects, which will include assisting with project planning and execution to providing valuable data analytics that inform the strategies and decisions in OL&CM to make data-driven improvements to the learning & skilling programs. This can be a remote role, based in Ireland.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain SharePoint sites, ensuring they are up-to-date, user-friendly, and effectively marketed to the customer base in GMS/GQ (Global Manufacturing & Supply/Global Quality).
  • Leverage cutting-edge learning technologies to engage a multi-generational workforce through enhanced learning experiences.
  • Lead communication efforts for learning programs, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged with the latest developments and initiatives related to learning investments for skilling & capability building.
  • Collaborate with Organizational Learning & Change Management (OL&CM)
  • Leads to develop information-sharing packs for learning lead calls and ensure decks are issued one week in advance of monthly meetings.
  • Work alongside OL&CM Leads to manage GMS/GQ Learning Academies assets, ensuring content is current, active, and all links are functioning properly.
  • Partner with instructional designers and OL&CM Leads to create adaptive learning content tailored to role-specific requirements, with a focus on non-GxP content.
  • Monitor learning asset utilization, reporting on Learning KPI metrics, and using data analytics to identify learning gaps and refine content to meet site and functional learning roadmap needs.
  • Provide training and support to instructional designers on utilizing AI tools and interpreting data analytics to enhance learning strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in training, knowledge management, and instructional design, with a strong emphasis on AI tools, SharePoint, and communications management, with 3 to 5 years of experience in a biopharmaceutical environment.
  • Training qualification (Certificate or Diploma level preferred), with hands-on experience in knowledge management and social learning methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing and regulatory compliance is essential.
  • Proven experience in deploying knowledge management strategies within a global biotech/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in knowledge management tools and learning technologies, including SharePoint, EdCast LxP, and SuccessFactors LMS.
  • Database experience and programming capabilities are advantageous. A background in SharePoint, communications, instructional design, and AI is critical to success in this role.
