Tandem has partnered with L’Arche Cork for 2023. L’Arche provides assisted living facilities and a day centre for people with learning difficulties.
L’Arche is developing a horticulture project and sensory garden in their day centre. In the future, they will have a café on site with the garden providing organic, farm to fork produce.
This year L’Arche will introduce a coffee pod, enabling their service users to gain new skills, engage in meaningful work and form social relationships as part of the community.
We were delighted to volunteer some time to help with the many jobs needed in preparation of the garden. We will be back again soon to continue the work!
