In 2023 Tandem signed up to the Science Based Target Initiatives (SBTi) goal to reduce emissions in line with the Paris Agreement. Tandem has committed to a 42% reduction in Greenhouse Gas emissions by 2030.
Tandem has established a Carbon Action Team to measure, monitor and report on our GHG emissions annually to the Carbon Disclosure Project.
Some of the Carbon Action Team’s initiatives include:
- Purchasing Renewable Energy
- Sourcing sustainably produced goods and services
- Monitoring and reducing waste
- Reducing the amount of paper used in our operations
- Switching to electric company vehicles
- Ensuring office utilities are operating efficiently
- Seasonally adjusting temperature controls in the office
